Introduction to engineering and architectural design and drafting practices. Students will produce 2D and 3D concept sketches and will translate those plans into 3D computer generated models. Students will use the design process to solve and build solutions to unique design challenges. They will also work in individually/groups to build scaled physical models of their design solutions. |

This is a University/ College preparatory course for students interested in entering into the fields of Architecture, Engineering, Design or Construction. Design projects will include Mechanical Design, Kitchen/Interior Design, Architectural Design and 3D Printing. Students will be introduced to analytical and design concepts that are equally applicable within most engineering disciplines. Students will be expected to utilize the analytical skills, 2D and 3D drawing techniques and basic model/prototyping practices in the completion of assigned projects. |

This is a University / College preparatory course that will expose students to more advanced Architecture and engineering concepts that will form a solid foundation for post-secondary school education. Students will be required to employ engineering principles, advanced 2D and 3D drawing techniques and model/prototyping practices in the completion of course related projects. Design projects will include Mechanical Assemblies, Kitchen/Interior, Architectural, Urban Planning/Sustainable Living and 3D Printing. |
